Young Ajummah is better known as Sara Layne in the world outside of K-pop. By day she is a devoted pre-school educator whose heart is filled with happiness at being one of the first positive influences in the lives of children. By night (or any other time that she can) she is YouTube Personality and Korean Entertainment Freelance writer. In addition, Young Ajummah is a devoted wife and mother. Her family is fully supportive and encouraging of her full intense obsession with K-entertainments. Like many others, Young Ajummah was first drawn into the world of Korean dramas through Boys Over Flowers.
One fateful night, a simple desire to take a mental break from studying led her down a path of no return. From there it was all downhill straight into K-pop. Young Ajummah’s favorite and most highly recommended drama is Bad Guys. Her ultimate bias is Kang Daesung of Big Bang with a hint of Zion T on the side. Subsequently, her favorite K-pop group is Big Bang. However, since her love runs deep, she doesn’t have a bias group in her heart…yet.
Young Ajummah freelances for several sites including DramaFever, hosts Daebak City, a monthly podcast, with Aewen Radio and is a valued member of the Multifacetedacg Productions Community of K-Fan Entertainers.
Keep up with her K-world antics and adventures to enjoy more of the world of Korean entertainment for “a never too old for K-pop” perspective.
Also I am fortunate enough to have had a few articles written about me, which you can see below.
