So here’s something new. Papa YG, and the rest of the folks over at YG Entertainment, have created an original series on Youtube Red with my UB group Big Bang. This is the first YouTube Red Originals series to launch in Korea.

“Run, BIGBANG Scout!” is a lighthearted reality show in the vein of popular Korean variety shows that place celebrities in unfamiliar surroundings. Here, the five members of BIGBANG go camping together for the first time and reminisce about the past ten years. The show promises to be a trip down memory lane for superfans as the series’ recaps major moments in BIGBANG’s history. The BIGBANG members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Seungri, Taeyang, and Daesung pay tribute to the family, staff, and fans who have given them so much support over the years — and celebrate together before band member T.O.P. heads off to serve his mandatory military duty.

Each episode gives fans a candid, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of the BIGBANG members. Fans will see them as they get ready for work, go grocery shopping and cook at the campsite. Their conversations will reflect their characteristic wit and sharp humor that fans love.

Episode 1 – THE REUNION BEGINS – April 26

Members of BIGBANG gather in front of the YG building, unaware they are being filmed. Guess who’s on time and who’s not?

 

Episode 2- BIGBANG GOES TO THE GROCERY STORE – April 26

To prepare for their camping trip, Seungri and G-Dragon hit the grocery store. Afterward, the members’ moms show up to make their favorite lunches.

 

Episode 3 – MOMMY, GIVE ME FOOD! – May 3

BIGBANG members gather at the campsite, eating their homemade lunches, as they discover what the camping trip holds in store for them.

 

Episode 4 – TELL ME THE TRUTH – May 10

The band’s managers open up about what it’s like working with the members of BIGBANG.

 

Episode 5 – SOBER TALK – May 17

BIGBANG prepares an epic BBQ together.

 

Episode 6 – WHAT DO WE NEED TO SAY? – May 24

After the BBQ, the band gathers around the campfire and shares their favorite memories about being a part of BIGBANG.

Now I know what you’re thinking. You have to pay for Youtube Red. I know. It’s a flaw to those of us that are already broke from paying for concerts, comeback CDs, etc… I don’t know how to watch the episodes for free (though the first 1 is free) but as soon as I find out, I will post it here and on social media.
