KPop Fans Problems: Idolization Process

Idolization Process

Actually this is more then just kpop fan problems. I’m about to be very real with ya’ll. Before getting into kpop and kdramas, I cared about my appearence….sometimes. Mama was a porker 0_o Sad but true. I was deep into that whole “I have a young child & a busy older child & I’m a college student and an military wife…” So yeah. I thought I was still awesome looking though, until I saw myself in pictures.

Fast forward to the wonderful world of dramas and music. I found myself starting to want to look and dress like the idols & actors do. So I started working out. Hard core. I would imagine being in the gym with Daesung & Taeyang and got my weight lifting on. It worked too. By the time the concert in NJ happened. I was slim and it was amazing.

Unfortunately right after the concert, my back went out and I was told to stop working out the way I did until my back healed. Well many months later (like a year) I am back to being a porker. *sigh* It never ceases to amaze me how dedicated idols are. They go through the “idolization process” where they eat little to nothing AND work out hours on end in order to achieve body perfection. The most noted one in my eyes is of course T.O.P.

Supposedly he lost 20kg in 40 days. 20kg = approx. 44 lbs. What the what??? I mean I know it’s a dog eat dog world in kpop where rookie groups appear more often then I can count but seriously… and its not just him.

It’s not jusst male idols but I’m getting depressed. I picked up this book called 3-1-2-1 diet so we’ll see if I can follow this and drop the weight again. UGH…where is Hwangssabu-nim when I need him.
